PUFin project

Third free True Potential finance course launched

The third free online course funded by the True Potential Centre for the Public Understanding of Finance (PUFin) launched in April, addressing the financial services industry and the aftermath of the 2007/8 banking crisis.

The three courses have reached 55,000 active learners. Four out of five learners on the first course said it had made a difference for them personally.

David Harrison, founder of True Potential and an OU MBA graduate, said, “It is clear the real difference both the Centre’s research and the educational resources are making to people across the UK. True Potential LLP is incredibly proud to have enabled effective learning at such a scale.”

The courses are so popular that their content will be integrated into a new Open University Business School module on business and finance.
