In 1969, we launched a revolution that’s changed millions of lives. Whether it’s providing training to inspire teachers in the poorest parts of the world, or pioneering research that trains dogs to detect cancer, our projects work to make the impossible, possible. But we can’t do it alone. We believe that education should be open to all, your support is vital in ensuring that everyone, regardless of their background or circumstance, has the opportunity to unlock their potential through education. Together we can change lives.
Update: Postal Correspondence
The University remains open but most staff have, as advised by the Government, transitioned to remote working and the University campus is now closed to ensure safety of staff and the OU community. This means we will temporarily be unable to process postal correspondence (which is being kept safely for our return). Sadly there will be a delay in our ability to acknowledge your generosity by post, or respond to physical mail. This does not in any way diminish our gratitude for your support, and we hope that you will understand that these unprecedented circumstances have meant we have had to rapidly adapt the way we work.
If you would like to continue to support the University, and make a life-changing difference to our students, you can still do so online. If you have any questions, please contact us at firstname.lastname@example.org and we will get back in touch as soon as possible.
Our projects bring immeasurable benefits to so many lives, and we rely on the generosity of our donors for all of them. We’re already making a difference worldwide – but we have the potential to do even more.
By working in partnership we can achieve shared goals; combining the University’s global reach and academic expertise with your organisation’s ambitions. Together, we can develop innovative projects to tackle a wide array of social, cultural and global issues.
